Champions of the Continent, the Octopath Traveler for mobile, will be published in Europe and North America in 2022

Through its social networks, Square Enix has announced the release outside of Japan of Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent , the prequel for mobile from its 2018 RPG.

At the moment, the idea is to give more information about this launch in mid-February, but it is specifically spoken from Europe and North America as territories in which it will be published. Champions of the Continent was published in Japan at the end of 2020, a couple of years after the launch of Octopath Traveler in Switch.

The aesthetics and the combat system of the original are maintained here, although with some changes: the number of characters that can participate in the battles is doubled, from the four octopath Traveler to eight, and the controls have been adapted for touch screens of the Smartphones.
